Why do we meditate? It depends on what kind of meditation you are doing- they have different purposes. Sometimes it is to relax, sometimes it is to find stillness and sometimes it is to manage your personal energy field. We can 'wear' energy from others or from places, we can 'hook' into others or merge with their energy, we can become ungrounded or tend to operate from the mind...
